Analog Design Introduction

Course Outcomes

By the end of the course, the learners will be able to

• Design analog circuit using MOSFETs with Cadence Virtuso schematic editor and Analog Design Environment ADE L & ADE XL
• Have a thorough knowledge of the MOSFET working and Characteristics
• Describe and Implement the design of the circuits like – Opamp/comparator , current mirrors
• Describe and Implement the digital design circuits like – Logic gates, MUX and Decoder
• Simulate and analysis the ouputs of the designed circuit over PVT and DC, AC/STB analysis.

Pre-requirement

• Current, Voltage KVL, KCL, passive element b/w active element,
• Passive element(R,C) – characteristics, working
• series and parallel circuit, Voltage Divider circuit working using resistor. 
• PN Junction Diode – working, characteristics
• MOSFET – design, working, characteristics, second order effect.
